Role Summary:
We are seeking an ambitious
Finance Manager
to lead the growing Finance team. You will be responsible for managing financial operations, including the delivery of management accounts, oversight of the annual audit, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Reporting directly to the Financial Director and with regular contact with the CEO, you will leverage your technical expertise and commercial insight to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.
This role offers exposure to diverse sectors and the opportunity to work with an international client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and delivery of management accounts and financial reports.
Manage the annual audit process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provide insightful financial analysis and support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with senior leadership and contribute to the company's growth strategy.
Lead and mentor the Finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including clients.
Key Requirements:
A strong academic background with a degree (2:1 or above) in Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
At least
2 years of experience
in an Accounts/Finance role, with demonstrated progression.
Excellent attention to detail and proven technical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in
Excel
and
Sage 50 Accounts
.
Progress towards an accounting professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is desirable.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present to diverse audiences.
Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work effectively under pressure.
