Permanent, full-time (35hr working week)

Office based, Hull

J. R Rix state of the art head office is located in central Hull overlooking the Marina. We started out as ship owners in 1873 and today we have interests in fuel distribution, shipping, motor cars, caravan manufacturing and property.

We are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join J R Rix & Sons Ltd. The successful applicant will be a confident individual with strong attention to detail, good communication skills, proficient with Excel and organised.

The role:

You will be working predominantly on our Petroleum Companies processing Purchase Invoices.

Daily matching of Deliveries to Invoices, logging them onto a complex excel spreadsheet and processing invoices through our Accounts Package Daily processing of payments Weekly reporting Month end procedures and general ledger reconciliation Provide support and holiday cover for the Oil Accounts Team

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience of Microsoft 365 Intermediary Level Excel is a must To be a good team player with the ability to work independently Ability to communicate effectively by telephone, in person and in writing High level of attention to detail Ability to multi-task and prioritise in-order to meet deadlines.
