Summary

Harvest Retail is currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our department as Accounts Payable Controller - Retail. The role will take ownership of all P2P processes within Finance.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the postholder's key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Invoice processing:

Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, ensuring they have proper authorization and are coded correctly.

Payment execution:

Process payments to vendors via checks, ACH, or wire transfers, and manage payment schedules to ensure timely and accurate payments.

Account reconciliation:

Reconcile accounts payable transactions and statements to resolve any discrepancies and maintain accurate records.

Vendor management:

Serve as the main point of contact for vendors, responding to inquiries and maintaining strong relationships.

Compliance and reporting:

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations, and assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

Process improvement:

Identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency of the accounts payable function. Other ad-hoc finance related duties

Person Specification, Qualifications & Package details:

Advanced knowledge of P2P activities

Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel

Strong system skills, experience in Dynamics is desirable.

Ability to meet demanding deadlines and adapts to business needs

Excellent time management/organisational and multi-tasking skills

Possess strong analytical skills Strong communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy Flexible and adaptable in approach

Package offered:

Fixed Term Contract position, office based in Weybridge
