The Role:

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor with us, you'll play a pivotal role in oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. What You'll Do:

Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team, currently comprising four direct reports, ensuring high performance and operational excellence. Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Timely processing of supplier payments in line with credit terms, corporate credit cards, and employee expenses. Investigate and resolve discrepancies and queries in billings and payments, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded. Adhere to established finance protocols, policies, and procedures, maintaining full compliance with internal and external regulatory guidelines.

What You'll Have:

Experience and skills:

Proven experience in financial management, with a strong focus on accounts payable operations and compliance. Demonstrated ability to identify, implement, and lead process and systems improvements that enhance efficiency and accuracy. Highly organised, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills in fast-paced environments. Self-driven and adaptable, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines with minimal supervision. Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams. Collaborative team player, committed to fostering positive working relationships and contributing to shared goals.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

Solid experience in Accounts Payable, with a proven track record of managing invoice processing, payments, and supplier relations. Familiarity with financial systems including SAP and Concur; prior hands-on experience preferred. Minimum AAT Level 2 qualification, demonstrating foundational accounting knowledge and practical skills. Educated to GCSE and/or A-Level standard, with strong numeracy and communications abilities
