We have a vacancy within our Finance Department and are currently recruiting for the temporary role of Accounts & Payroll Administrator on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. We are looking for candidates who have relevant and proven experience seeking an opportunity to develop their skills and join a growing Organisation.
Shift Pattern:
17 hours per week, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Mondays and Tuesdays. You will be entitled to a 30-minute unpaid lunch break between 12:00 and 12:30 Monday to Thursday. Additionally, you will have a 10-minute paid break each morning and a 10-minute paid break each afternoon.

Role Accountabilities:
Purchase Ledger
Process all invoices in line with agreed Service level agreement
Create new supplier accounts and maintain existing supplier accounts
Petty cash and safety shoe transactions
Reconcile supplier statements including but not limited to the top 20 suppliers
Prepare control account reconciliations for purchase ledger - inclusive of GRNI
Monitor GRNI and collate manual orders received not invoiced
Prepare stock and manual order accruals and prepayments
Process supplier payments by BACS or one-off payments for review for processing
Enhance controls in place for processes and suggest improvements to the current processes and controls
Respond to supplier queries within 72 hours and reduce supplier queries by assisting the business in getting things right first time
Sales Ledger
Create new customer accounts and maintain existing customer accounts
Assist with credit control when requested
Process ad hoc sales invoices and credit notes
General
Assist in the preparation of the daily cash books
Assist with weekly timesheet checks and reporting
Answer telephone, scanning and filing

Problem Solving
Up to and including GCSE level (or equivalent)
AAT or equivalent (desirable)
