We are seeking a dynamic Accounts and Payroll Assistant to support our financial operations and ensure smooth payroll processes. This is an office based role, hours are 10am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday.

What You'll Do



Payroll Administration



Assist in preparing and processing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation. Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new starters, leavers, and changes to employment terms. Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a timely and professional manner.

Accounts Support



Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and data entry. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and maintaining accurate records. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Compliance and Accuracy



Ensure compliance with all company policies, HMRC regulations, and other statutory requirements. Perform regular checks and audits of payroll and accounting processes to ensure accuracy.

What We're Looking For



Skills and Experience



Previous experience in payroll processing and/or accounts administration. Experience using payroll software and accounting systems, such as RedSky, would be desirable, but training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
