THE INDIVIDUAL:
We are looking for a bright articulate individual who can work as part of the management team. You must be self-motivated, with good interpersonal skills with an ability to take on responsibility and work to deadlines.
THE ROLE:
Assisting with the daily planning and management of engineers to help balance between the on-site and workshop-based work commitments
Assisting with the completion of the engineer's service reports to ensure accurate costing and well-articulated, reasoned written report is sent to the customer
Raising quotations for parts supplied to our customers
Negotiating with supplier to obtain the best prices available on purchased goods
Raising sales invoices & purchase orders
Coding and posting both the sales & purchase invoices onto Sage Line 50
Monthly creditor ledger reconciliation and the preparation of BACS payment runs
Credit control & debtors ledger reconciliation
Bank reconciliations
Monthly credit card expense summaries
Assist with the monthly management accounts
Assist with the negotiations of new supplier contracts and agreements
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Ability to work on own initiative
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Good IT skills with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
Methodical and organized in your approach to work with good attention to detail
Experience of using accounting programs such as Sage Line 50 or an equivalent is essential
