Utilise the patient administration system (RiO) on a daily basis keeping accurate records and booking of appointments. Carry out administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, uploading documents, typing. Type a range of documents including emailed requests, copy typing, and audio transcription (via Winscribe digital dictation system) generated by the mental health pathway teams. Use a variety of electronic systems (MS Office, RiO, MICAD, E-Proc).
Manage and deal with calls from service users, families, carers, and other professionals. Support the team in carrying out admin work requests via the centralised admin inbox. Confidently handling queries of a challenging/sensitive nature. Concise and accurate message taking.
Reception duties including meeting and greeting service users, carers, relatives and visitors, as requested by the Admin Team Leader. Prioritise own workload and meet deadlines in order to meet the requirements of the post. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
