We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing comprehensive administrative support. This position requires excellent organisational skills, a strong command of computer applications, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Duties
Manage office communications, including answering phone calls and responding to emails with professionalism and courtesy.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
Assist in rostering carers onto the electronic rostering system.
Assist in adding information for the service users on the Care digital planning software system.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring easy access to information.
Handle clerical tasks such as typing documents, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless office operations and assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements
Previous office experience is essential, with a strong background in administrative roles in care sector is preferred.
Previous experience in electronic rostering system is essential.
Previous experience in care, domiciliary care is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace is required.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Competent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
