About Us

At 360 Children's Residential Services, we provide safe, supportive homes for children and young people aged 7 to 17. Our team helps them heal, build confidence, and look forward to brighter futures. We're a growing organisation with homes across the South West, London, and Durham -- and we're excited to welcome a new apprentice to our Plymouth office.

About the Role

This apprenticeship is perfect for someone organised, friendly, and eager to learn. You'll support HR and office operations -- from onboarding new staff and updating records to helping with training and day-to-day admin tasks.

You'll gain hands-on experience while completing your Level 3 Business Administrator qualification, with support from our "Administrative & Facilities Coordinator" and the wider team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Support the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation, induction materials, referencing, DBS checks, and system setup. Assist with training coordination through the training hub - scheduling, allocating, and tracking completion. Carry out data entry and updates for training records, Schedule 2, and DBS information. Maintain and update employee records, including employee agreements. Provide administrative assistance with the shared inbox and telephone queries - supporting Administrative & Facilities Coordinator to ensure timely responses and effective communication. Help source and book venues for meetings, training sessions, and events. Contribute to the preparation of reports (e.g. the Equals report) and assist with related data entry. Support utilities management and other general office administrative tasks. Draft letters and other documentation as needed. Take low-level meeting minutes and provide ad-hoc administrative support to the wider team. Reporting to the "Administrative & Facilities Coordinator".

Progression and Development

As you develop your skills and progress through your qualification, you'll have opportunities to:

Take ownership of individual administrative projects. Explore areas of interest such as recruitment or HR support. Help onboard and mentor future apprentices as the team grows. Pursue additional qualifications or training relevant to your career development.

What We're Looking For

Maturity required for handling confidential employee information, contracts, and DBS data. Organised, reliable, and eager to learn. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Confident using Microsoft Office and open to learning new systems. A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a supportive team.

What We Offer

A friendly, inclusive working environment. Practical, hands-on learning and one-to-one mentorship. Opportunities to grow within HR, training, or office management. Real experience in a professional setting where your work makes a difference.

Application Process:

Interview: In-person meeting. Start Date: ASAP. * DBS Check: Standard check required prior to appointment.
