We are seeking an exceptionally organised and meticulous individual, with significant experience in business administration, to join our team as an

Administrative Events Assistant.



Adventure Cinema is a family-run business that brings the magic of outdoor cinema to over 70 stunning venues across England, Wales and Scotland each year. Since our establishment in 2019, we have grown exponentially. We are now looking to expand our team with someone who will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our events.

Salary:

27,000 per annum

Hours:

Flexible hours available, offering either full-time or part-time. Working hours must fall within our standard operating times, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Location:

Office-based role in Bishop's Castle, Shropshire

Essential Skills:



Proficiency in Google Workspace applications, using tools such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive. Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Experienced in all aspects of office administration. Computer literacy is essential, with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and web management being crucial for effective daily operations. A quick learner who can manage competing workloads and priorities with ease. Ability and willingness to support team members as needed in a small, close-knit team. Dependable and dedicated to the role, consistently demonstrating a strong work ethic. You must be able to work autonomously and think on your feet.

Desirable Skills:



Familiarity with CMS or back-end web development tools for managing website functionality. Experience with the Eventbrite ticketing platform, including creating and managing events, processing bookings, and utilising reporting features.
You will play an important role in supporting the smooth delivery of our nationwide tour, taking ownership of essential administrative and coordination tasks. The ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy is vital.

You'll be part of a close-knit and supportive team, so strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. While full training on role-specific systems will be provided, we are looking for someone who can quickly adapt, show initiative, and contribute confidently from the start.

This is a varied and dynamic position that requires strong computer literacy. You'll be responsible for sending advancing information to infrastructure providers and traders, outlining logistics, schedules, and site-specific requirements. You'll also manage our ticketing software, ensuring event details are accurate and up to date, and schedule email communications to ticket holders.

In addition to administrative responsibilities, the role will include the management, packing, and oversight of our essential add-ons, such as treat bags and other items, ensuring everything is organised and ready for the events.

Previous experience working in events in an administrative role is desirable but not essential.
