Summary
We are offering a unique pathway where you'll begin in an administration/ support role, learn the industry from the ground up, and within 12-month period progress into a Protection Adviser role which opens a whole host of opportunities. You will receive mentorship and ongoing support/guidance form the business owner and you will be working closely with the current protection adviser.
You will initially be part of our admin team responsible for assisting our mortgage and protection advisers. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate professionalism, be inquisitive and ambitious, and be comfortable dealing with clients. You will also need to be confident on the phone.
You will be required to work 5 days per week - Monday to Thursdays 9.00am to 5.30pm and Fridays 9.00am to 3pm. However part time hours may be available.
Responsibilities
Administration duties:
-Meeting and greeting clients, supporting with case management, data entry, client documents, and compliance processes.
-Dealing with incoming telephone calls and emails, proactively calling clients to book appointments.
-Being able to provide comprehensive, flexible administrative support to the team of advisers.
-Liaise with providers, lenders, solicitors, advisers and clients
-Proactively progressing mortgage and protection applications from submission through to completion.
-Maintaining accurate and up to date records on our computer systems.
Exposure to protection products (life, critical illness, income protection and business protection) and the advice process.
Hands-on learning while working closely with senior adviser/business owner.
Transition into a Trainee Protection Adviser role with structured training.
Build confidence and skills under supervision, with ongoing mentoring.
Skills and Experience Required:
A-Level or equivalent
Ability to prioritise and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
Outstanding communication skills at all levels, both written and oral.
Demonstrate a confident telephone manner & excellent customer service.
A team player with ability to use their own initiative to actively get jobs done efficiently and within an agreeable timeframe.
It is essential that you are accurate, numerate and have an eye for detail.
You need to have a conscientious approach and be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
Computer literate.
Previous experience in financial services, administration, or customer service is beneficial but not essential.
