Job Description

Designer Contracts is the UK's largest flooring contractor operating across 13 regional facilities. As well as floor covering, the company provides curtains and blinds, furniture and lighting.

Due to our continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our friendly team at our Central Distribution Centre based in Kettering.

Salary -

26,250 plus bonus

Type -

Permanent, Full Time

Working Pattern -

Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

The ideal candidate must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, whilst maintaining the highest level of accuracy at all times.


The objective of this role is to provide an efficient, effective administration service and ensure high standards and compliant administration at all times.

Other key areas of responsibilities include:



Responsible for allocating our regional offices orders efficiently Process our regional offices requests and questions in a timely manner Be able to understand and work accurately on our bespoke stock control software Be able to understand and use the company Intranet competently Assist with booking in deliveries and keying in manual orders Process stock for returns to our suppliers Be responsible for incoming/outgoing post Be the first point of contact for incoming calls Assist in our blind making room as required

Be articulate, possess excellent IT and communication skills and work well under pressure in a busy office environment Commitment to working as part of a team A keen eye for detail in all tasks
