Mearns Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the practice and delivering excellent patient care.
Applicants should have a flair for exceptional customer service as well as being able to multi-task and prioritise their workload. Candidates should be IT literate and enjoy working as part of a team as well as using their own initiative when required. You should have excellent communication skills and adhere to patient confidentiality at all times.
This is a varied role and tasks will include answering and making telephone calls to patients and external agencies, arranging appointments, signposting patients to the correct healthcare service, processing of prescriptions, filing and managing clinical mail and inputting information and data into clinical systems.
The hours for this post are full-time.
