We are a small "family style" residential care home in Rogerstone on the outskirts of Newport and provide support for the elderly including those who suffer from the effects of dementia.

We are currently looking to recruit a part time Administrative Assistant to join our residential care team for 12-16 hours/week over 3-4 weekdays each week. This is tempoerary maternity cover but may lead to a permanent role.
The Role
Managing payroll
Issuing our staff rota
Maintaining staff/resident records
Managing financial records ie fees, personal expenses, petty cash
Supporting staff recruitment
Support to our manager and senior team
Managing stationary/display materials
Supporting our systems and processes

About you
We are looking for someone to join our team who
Experience from similar role
Good with numbers
PC literate/familiar with Microsoft packages inc Word and Excel
Professional and good communication skills
Is Caring & Kind and committed to helping improve the quality of life of our residents
Is resident in or close to Rogerstone
Has the right to work in the UK
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 14.60 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
