About the Role:


We are a dynamic and growing vocational college seeking a committed and qualified

Adult Care Tutor, Assessor, and Internal Quality Assurer (IQA)

to join our in-office team full-time. This role involves the delivery, assessment, and internal quality assurance of the following qualifications:

Level 2 Diploma in Care Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver structured, engaging lessons to adult learners in a classroom-based setting. Assess learner portfolios and workplace competence in line with awarding body requirements. Support learners throughout their qualification journey with tailored feedback and one-on-one guidance. Carry out Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) of assessment decisions and maintain sampling plans. Maintain accurate records of teaching, assessment, and internal verification. Participate in curriculum development, standardisation meetings, and quality assurance processes. Ensure delivery and assessment are compliant with awarding organisation and regulatory standards.

Requirements:



Relevant Level 5 qualification in Adult Care or Leadership in Health & Social Care. Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PGCE, CertEd). Assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, D32/33). Internal Quality Assurance qualification (e.g., V1, IQA Award). Experience teaching and assessing Level 2, 3, and/or Level 5 Adult Care qualifications. Strong knowledge of Ofqual-regulated qualifications and standards. Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills.

Desirable:



Practical experience working in a care or leadership role within adult care. Experience using e-portfolio systems (e.g., OneFile, Smart Assessor).
