After School Club Manager



Location: Navenby Primary School

Pay: Minimum of 12.90 per hour (depending on experience & qualifications)

Job Type: Part-Time, term time only

Start Date: 3rd September 2025

Monday-Thursday 3-6pm and Friday 3-5:30pm (Term Time Only)

At Extra Timers After School Club, we're passionate about creating fun, safe, and enriching environments for children 4-11 year olds in our after school. We work closely with families, schools, and communities to provide high-quality care that supports children's development and helps working parents balance their busy schedules.

We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and caring Manager to join our growing team and lead one of our setting with confidence and creativity.

Role Overview:



As the Extra Timers Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of our after-school care club. You'll ensure the highest standards of care and play opportunities, manage staff, liaise with parents and school, and help shape a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children. Support will be provided by our Nursery Manager and Head Office team.

Key Responsibilities:



Manage the day-to-day operations of Extra Timers After school club, ensuring smooth and safe running at all times

Lead, motivate, and support a small team of playworkers and activity professionals.

Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote play, learning, and social development

Maintain Ofsted compliance and safeguarding requirements

Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and school staff

Ensure the environment is clean, safe, and well-organised

Requirements:



Previous experience working in a childcare or play work setting (essential)

Experience in a leadership or supervisory role (preferred)

A relevant qualification in childcare, play work, or equivalent (desirable)

A strong understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and Ofsted requirements

Excellent communication and organisational skills

A caring, energetic, and hands-on approach

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)

First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Safeguarding certificates (or willingness to obtain)?
