Role Overview

You'll be operating an Amada press brake, bending parts accurately and keeping production moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Operate Amada press brakes safely and efficiently. Set tooling, select programs, and adjust bend sequences. Read engineering drawings and job cards correctly. Perform test bends and fine?tune angles and tolerances. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality. Work with various materials and thicknesses. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area. Report defects or machine issues immediately. Coordinate with fabrication, laser, and assembly teams. Follow all health & safety procedures.

Skills & Experience

Experience with Amada press brakes (HFE, HD, HG, etc.). Understanding of bend allowances, materials, and tolerances. Confident with CNC controls and adjustments. Able to read engineering drawings. Mechanical awareness and problem?solving skills. FLT licence is beneficial. Reliable, practical, and detail?focused. Calm under pressure. Team player with ownership of tasks. Proactive and improvement?minded.
