Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Amadeus Ticketing & Reservations Agent to join our airline customer service team in London.
The successful candidate will be London-based, skilled in using Amadeus, and passionate about providing excellent service to individual and group travellers.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and deliver outstanding customer service to passengers, travel agents, and corporate clients.
Process flight reservations and ticketing accurately using the Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS).
Handle group bookings -- including fare quotations, seat requests, name list management, deposits, and final payments.
Manage reissues, refunds, and changes in accordance with airline and IATA regulations.
Provide accurate travel information, including schedules, fares, and route details.
Handle booking modifications, cancellations, and special service requests.
Maintain effective communication with internal departments and external airline partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
Right to work in the United Kingdom (mandatory).
Must be currently based in London.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in airline or travel agency ticketing and reservations.
Proficient in Amadeus; knowledge of other GDS systems (Galileo, Sabre) is a plus.
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
Confident and professional telephone manner.
Ability to manage multiple reservations and work accurately under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
