Embark on an exciting journey as an Angling Office Assistant at our busy fishing shop. This role involves learning and contributing to various online and computer-based tasks that support our retail operations. We're seeking someone passionate about fishing, eager to learn, and ready to dive into the world of online retail.
Angling Active has steadily grown into a premier destination for fishing enthusiasts. We began as a local tackle shop in the heart of a fishing community in Stirling, we now have a large unit on the outskirts of Stirling, housing over 30,000 unique products. We have expanded immensely in size, in inventory and our reach throughout the UK. We are one of the biggest fishing tackle retailers in the UK and have a substantial online presence.
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing customer service inquiries through calls and tickets under supervision. Craft engaging and accurate product descriptions for our range of fishing tackle/equipment. Support uploading product descriptions and images onto our database for the online store. Collaborate with the team to optimise online product visibility and sales.
Requirements:
Good computer skills with eagerness to learn data entry, content creation and online platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and willingness to ensure accurate product information online. Passion for fishing with strong angling knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
Customer service/admin background experience. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key. Interest/background in e-commerce platforms and inventory management systems is advantageous.
