Join Our Team as an ANPR Electrical Supervisor



Location:

Surrey and Home Counties

Salary:

40,000 - 42,500 per annum

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (occasional weekends may be required)


Are you an experienced electrician ready to step into a leadership role with a growing company? APCOA is looking for a motivated

ANPR Electrical Supervisor

to lead and support our team of remote maintenance engineers, ensuring the smooth planning, installation, and upkeep of cutting-edge Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems across the UK.


What You'll Be Doing:




Lead, supervise, and coordinate maintenance and repairs of ANPR cameras and car parking equipment. Plan and prioritise daily operations, allocating resources where they're needed most. Uphold the highest standards of health & safety -- from RAMS and PTWs to regular vehicle and equipment checks. Support your team's training and development, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Investigate faults, manage equipment delivery, and oversee safe driving practices. Liaise with suppliers, identify cost-saving opportunities, and build strong working relationships. Deliver excellent customer service and handle supplier/contractor queries professionally. Keep up to date with best practices, industry changes, and share knowledge across teams.

What We're Looking For:




Fully qualified electrician (NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent). Knowledge of the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations. Significant experience with electrical installations, ideally with ANPR or CCTV systems. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record managing remote teams. Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills. Proficient in MS Office, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple tasks. Smart, professional, self-motivated, and flexible in approach.

Desirable (But Not Essential):




2391 Testing qualification, IOSH Managing Safely. First Aid or Fire Warden qualifications. IPAF license, CSCS card, or similar industry-specific certifications.
