Applications Specialist

Reporting to the UK Applications Manager

Serosep UK is currently seeking an Applications Specialist who will provide training and customer support to customers of Serosep Molecular Diagnostics and distribution product range.

Main Duties:

Plan, schedule and deliver training on all products at new sites both during trial phase and routine implementation Assist with onsite verification or validation studies Plan and advise efficient workflow for existing and new customers Maintain all internal customer records in a timely fashion To provide technical support for issues relating to customer trials and studies. Communicate with technical support team on any issues that may arise Troubleshooting and maintenance visits to existing users Flag any potential opportunities to field-based sales team for extension of business provision. Set up clinical trials for new products Validate any new products Lead any projects that may arise Delivery and installation of new equipment and replacement equipment
Essential Criteria:

BSc in Biomedical Science, Microbiology, Molecular Biology or equivalent Previous experience as an Applications Specialist or Biomedical Scientist within UK/Irish Pathology laboratories. Proficient use in Microsoft Office Self-motivated and enthusiastic worker Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative Good organisation and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Full clean driver's license Ability to travel, potentially all destinations Internationally including outside of EU if required. Overnight stays will be routinely required.
Desirable Criteria:

Laboratory IT experience, including LIMS interfacing and networking of analysers Located in Central England
