As an ABA Tutor at ABA Sheffield Ltd., you will be required to work 3 days per week (with our aim to extend this to 4 days per week) between our ABA Playroom in Sheffield and our school programme based in Rotherham. You will be delivering personalised 1:1 ABA programmes for children with ASD. You will be responsible for implementing individualised ABA curriculums focusing on behaviour management, functional communication training, and developmental skills. Your expertise will be essential in delivering these evidence-based interventions across various settings. The position will be supervised by a board-certified behaviour analyst.

Ideal candidate will have:



Proven experience in tutoring and teaching, particularly with children with ASD Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students and their families Background in special education, with a focus on implementing individualised education plans Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and styles Flexibility to work across different settings, including our clinic and school environments Reliable transportation to travel between Sheffield and Rotherham locations when needed

Key Responsibilities



Implement 1:1 ABA programmes under the supervision of a BCBA Collect and record accurate data on student progress and behaviors Conduct skill acquisition programs and behavior reduction protocols Participate in team meetings and training sessions Collaborate with BCBAs to modify and adjust programming as needed Support students in developing social skills, communication abilities, and academic skills in accordance with their individualised education plans. Maintain regular communication with parents and other team members Create and prepare materials for therapy sessions Follow behaviour intervention plans and teaching protocols accurately
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 22.5 per week
