A bit about the role

We have a fantastic newly created role for a care experienced candidate to join the Action for Children family. We\'re excited to welcome care experienced individuals to join our team to complete an apprenticeship with us.

At Action for Children, we define care experience as: People who have had previous personal experience of the care system for example they have been a child who was looked after, had a social worker, lived in a children\'s home or extended family members rather than birth parents.

Our apprenticeships provide an opportunity to gain workplace skills and experience in the one of the UK\'s largest children\'s charities, not only making a difference to the children and young people that we support, but to our team- all whilst also completing a Business Administration (level 3) qualification to further your education.

A bit about the Service

Staffordshire Emotional Health and Wellbeing Services delivers a range of support to children, young people, and their families from 5 - 18 (and up to 25yrs for children with SEND) across 2 hubs in the Staffordshire area (Newcastle -under-Lyme and Rugeley). Our aim is to transform and improve outcomes for Children and Young People with mild to moderate EHWB problems, specifically those who are vulnerable and at risk.

Our Service is required to respond at the earliest possible opportunity using short, Evidence Based interventions along with information, advice, and guidance (IAG), through our digital partners. The collaborative model is designed to increase resilience and reduce the development of more entrenched mental health issues.
