Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate construction. Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials such as timber, bricks, concrete, and steel. Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently. Assist with site preparation, including clearing and levelling ground surfaces. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct quality checks on completed work to meet project standards.

Experience

Proven experience as a Builder or in a similar construction role is preferred. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction. Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately. Experience operating relevant tools and machinery is desirable. Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions. A valid construction-related qualification or apprenticeship is advantageous but not essential.
