Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. Duties

Interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications to execute building tasks accurately Erect and assemble frameworks, walls, floors, and roofs using appropriate tools and materials Install fixtures such as windows, doors, and fittings in line with project requirements Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored safely after use Assist with the loading and unloading of building materials and equipment as needed Follow health and safety procedures diligently to minimise risks on site

Skills

Proven experience in construction or building roles is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is highly valued Strong understanding of building techniques, materials, and safety protocols Excellent organisational skills with the ability to read technical drawings and instructions accurately Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship Valid relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., CSCS card) are advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: 24,420.00-42,800.54 per year

Work Location: On the road
