Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities

Interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of projects. Assemble, install, and repair structural components such as walls, floors, roofs, and fixtures. Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality. Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris and organising materials. Conduct routine inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction or building trades is preferred. Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications accurately. Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Valid relevant qualifications or certifications (e.g., CSCS card) are advantageous but not essential. A proactive attitude with a commitment to safety and quality standards.
