At Forth Ports, we're offering motivated individuals the chance to kick-start their careers with ourApprentice Customer Service Administrator role. Over 2 years, you will receive hands-on experience and formal training in customer service and business operations. You'll develop practical skills in administration, communication, and logistics support while working in a dynamic port services environment--and work towards a Business Admin SCQF Level 6 qualification, all while earning as you learn.



We will hold an assessment day for this role in the first week of June at the Port ofGrangemouth where you will have the chance to meet some of the team and to find out more about the role and the apprenticeship. We will be in touch before then to let you know if you have been selected to attend.

About The Role



What you will learn:




As an Apprentice Customer Services Administrator, you will gain a strong foundation in business administration and customer service, with hands-on experience supporting key operations related to port container traffic, warehousing, and general cargo.



You will develop essential skills in communication, organisation, and teamwork, learning how to confidently interact with stakeholders and contribute to smooth business operations. Through formal training and real-world tasks, you'll build your knowledge of modern business administration practices, including record-keeping, stock control, customer interaction, and customs documentation.



You will also complete units such as Develop Self and Improve Own Performance in a Business Environment, Communicate in a Business Environment, and others relevant to your role, ultimately working toward a nationally recognised SCQF Level 6 qualification.
