Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to develop their skills in a nurturing environment. As an Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced practitioners to support the growth and development of children in our nursery setting.

Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's learning and development. Support the daily care routines of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive nursery environment. Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions among children. Participate in regular training sessions to enhance your knowledge of early childhood education practices. Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating nursery environment conducive to learning. Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity within the nursery setting.

Qualifications

A genuine interest in working with children and a desire to pursue a career in childcare or early years education. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and parents. Leadership qualities that enable you to inspire and motivate young learners. A commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education.
