At Country Kids Day Nursery Kneesall, we're looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our amazing team and gain hands-on experience while working towards your Level 3 qualification in childcare.

This role will not require you to be in full ratio's for the first 6 months, but instead, you will be an additional staff member within the room, assisting and learning the role alongside coursework and additional training.

This opportunity is also available for those who are already Level 2 qualified and wish to continue their professional development by completing their Level 3 qualification.

Position Details:

Hours:

30 hours per week

Salary:

12,012 (for the first year of the apprenticeship, regardless of age; pay scale increases after one year based on age)

Key responsibilities:

Assist the team with daily routines and activities, gaining experience in a range of childcare tasks Support the development and well-being of the children in your care Learn how to deliver age-appropriate activities and follow individual routines Understand and adhere to nursery policies and procedures to maintain a safe, nurturing environment Work as part of a collaborative team to ensure a positive experience for both children and staff Develop communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues
