Our UK Parts Sales Unit is the dedicated parts enquiry team for Konecranes in the UK, operating from our Head Office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, the team plays a vital role in supporting our customers and internal stakeholders.
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Parts Sales Advisor to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to launch a career in sales within a fast-paced, supportive office environment.
Our Apprenticeship Programme is built on traditional learning methods, combining hands-on experience with dedicated coaching and mentoring from our experienced Sales Engineers/advisors. This approach ensures you gain practical knowledge, develop essential skills, and build a strong foundation for a successful career in sales.
Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and professionally to parts sales enquiries from a diverse engineering customer base.
• Prepare accurate and timely quotations for maintenance service customers.
• Support external UK customers, manage global export enquiries, and assist Konecranes' internal service branches across the UK.
• Ensure prompt and professional communication to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will receive:

• An NVQ L3 Business Administration in line with your apprenticeship programme
• Comprehensive on-the-job training and experience in a professional sales environment
• The opportunity for a permanent position within our UK Parts Sales Unit
• Continued career development and progression opportunities within Konecranes

Working Pattern:

• 37.5 hours per week
• 4 days based in the office (inc. 1 day hybrid upon completion of training)
• 1 day per week allocated for study/course work

Qualifications
What we are looking for in you:

• Education: 5 GCSEs, (minimum grade 4) to include Maths and English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional environment
• High levels of enthusiasm, motivation, and self-initiative
• Technically minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
• Proficient in using computers and standard office software
• Committed to delivering excellent customer service
