Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. This position requires a commitment to accuracy and a passion for helping others.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide medication administration support under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with legal requirements. Answer patient queries regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage instructions. Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking medications as necessary. Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy practices.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with medication administration processes is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
