These opportunities are ideal for individuals looking to develop their mechanical skills in a hands-on environment. As an Apprentice Mechanic, you will work under the guidance of experienced mechanics, gaining valuable knowledge and experience in equipment repair, assembly, and maintenance.
Duties
Carry out pre hire checks of the safety and working operations of machines against a pre determined check list.
Carry out scheduled services of machines.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Diagnosing faults on an array of Construction plant & Tools.
Carry out repairs to faults found and replace parts where required.
Support the assembly of mechanical components and systems.
recording of all work carried out both manually and on our computer systems.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications
GCSE Or equivalent English & Maths (Grade 4 or higher) desirable
Basic mechanical knowledge is essential; previous experience or training in a similar field is advantageous.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as required.
A proactive attitude towards safety and quality assurance in all work performed.
