Active Flooring Solutions, a leading sub-contractor in the construction industry, is looking for a motivated and detail-focused individual to join our team as an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career now and progress to a fully-funded degree in Quantity Surveying from next year.

What You'll Be Doing:

Working from our Aintree office (Liverpool), you'll support our Northwest flooring division on commercial projects. Tasks will include:

Monitoring project costs against budgets Preparing and submitting monthly payment applications Recording and valuing variations Reviewing client payment notices and querying discrepancies Creating installer rate sheets and verifying their invoices Measuring from drawings using specialist software (we'll train you) Supporting procurement and subcontract processes Maintaining project spreadsheets Assisting with general commercial and admin duties
As you progress, you'll also begin attending site visits across the Northwest. A full UK driving license isn't essential now but will be needed later in your role.

Working Hours & Pay:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)
42.5 paid hours/week
9.50/hour = 20,995 per year

What We're Looking For:

A Levels, T Levels or equivalent (ideally in Maths or Construction) Confident using Microsoft Excel and digital tools Strong attention to detail and accuracy Eager to learn, develop, and build a career Team player who takes pride in their work Good communication skills and professional attitude
