Role Purpose
The Area Registered Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple Supported Living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. You will be responsible for ensuring services deliver high-quality, person-centred care that promotes independence and positive outcomes.
You will play a key part in our Senior Management Team (SMT), contribute to strategic planning, and strengthen the reputation of Cintre within the sector.

Key Requirements
Extensive experience managing multiple registered care or supported living sites.
NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) - essential.
Eligible for CQC Registered Manager status, with registration secured within two months of appointment.
Proven track record of leading high-performing teams, achieving regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
Provide visible leadership and direction across multiple locations.
Promote a high-performance culture built on accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Manage staffing levels and skill mix to ensure safe, effective rotas and high-quality care.
Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and commissioners to promote confidence in service provision.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure full compliance with CQC Standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead on-site inspections, internal audits, statutory notifications, and submission of PIRs.
Monitor and maintain policies, embedding consistent, safe practice across services.
Local Authority & Commissioning Requirements
Ensure services meet local authority contract standards and KPIs.
Build positive working relationships with quality assurance teams, commissioners, and inspectors.
Service Development & Business Planning
Maximise occupancy and sustainability across services.
Contribute to strategic planning, service remodelling, and new business cases in line with organisational priorities.
Support innovation in service delivery and develop activities that enhance service user wellbeing.
Safeguarding & Risk Management
Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Ensure a strong safeguarding culture is embedded in daily practice.
Work with the Training Manager to embed safeguarding knowledge and competency.
Health & Safety
Ensure services meet all relevant Health & Safety requirements
Conduct and monitor risk assessments, environmental checks, and audits.
Additional Duties
Participate in the on-call rota and provide emergency management cover when required.
Support care planning, reviews, and service user transitions to ensure personalised, responsive support.
Maintain consistent communication with senior leaders and contribute to organisational decision-making.
Undertake continuing professional development relevant to learning disabilities, autism, mental health, and regulatory frameworks.
