The Role:

As an ad-hoc Artisan Bread Baker, you will be responsible for producing a wide variety of high-quality breads. You will be a crucial part of our production team, ensuring our standards of excellence are met with every loaf.

Key Responsibilities:

Mixing, scaling, and dividing doughs with precision. Expertly shaping a diverse range of breads. Overseeing the proving and baking processes to achieve the perfect crust and crumb. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment. Demonstrating a comprehensive knowledge of the entire bread-making process, from starter to finished product.

What we are looking for:

Proven experience working in a professional bakery environment. A strong understanding of and experience with a wide variety of bread types. Proficiency in all stages of the baking process: mixing, scaling, shaping, and baking. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. The ability to work efficiently and cleanly in a fast-paced setting. A flexible and reliable team player.

What we offer:

Competitive Pay:

15 per hour.

Enhanced Rates:

18 per hour for shifts on Sundays and any hours worked after midnight.

Flexible Shifts:

Shifts are typically 9 hours, with common patterns including 9am-6pm, 10am-7pm, and 7pm-2am. We offer flexibility around these times and you can choose only the shifts you are available for.

The ad-hoc nature of this role means you will be covering a range of needs, keeping the work interesting and dynamic.
