Award Scheme Ltd is the trading arm of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and we are responsible for the administration, opening accounts and general admin for all the Licensed Operators and Directly Licensed Centres who run the DofE.
This is a part time role, 25 hours per week Mon-Friday 8am-1pm (Flexible on working hours, can be discussed). It is a homebased role however you will be required to travel to our office in Edinburgh for team meetings a minimum of twice a month.
We now have a fantastic opportunity for an Invoice and Administration Assistant to work within our team. You will provide support to the team in various areas such as processing invoices accurately and efficiently, daily banking reconciliation, processing Grant Funding applications, opening and closing of accounts, answering customer queries always ensuring a high level of customer service.
We are a small, strong team that work closely together and support one another in achieving our goals.
What we are looking for:
Experience and demonstrate working knowledge of working with accounting packages such as Sage or Business Central.
Knowledge of the MS Suite including Microsoft Excel skills.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
Experience with daily banking/banking reconciliation.
