Due to the company's continued Global expansion in the delivery of our World leading, pre-clinical multi-modality imaging systems, the following vacancy, based at our facility in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, has been created.



MR Solutions is looking to recruit a motivated Assembly Technician to join the team.


Main Duties




Following Engineering drawings and work instructions. Making dimension and electrical measurements and recording results. Using jigs and fixtures, hydraulic tools, hand tools, vacuum pumps, and leak detectors. Use of electrical test equipment like Multimeters, breakdown testers and power supply units. Use of lifting equipment like overhead cranes. To ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner in compliance with the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Quality Procedures.

The technician will be able to learn on the job and gain experience within our MRI systems.


Skills/Qualifications



The person should preferably have experience in the medical device manufacturing industry and mainly in the assembly of MRI Magnets. The role is very much a hands-on role where the product is being constructed and tested for use in MRI systems. Knowledge of assembly and testing processes. Soldering and jointing experience would be an advantage. MIG/TIG Welding experience would be an advantage. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer literate and good attention to detail. Ability to work well in team settings.
