Rate: Dependant on experience
Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Asset Examination Engineer. You will be responsible for the visual inspection of all the track assets, ensuring reports are provided on the condition of the track and reported to the Section Manager. This position would be suitable for an existing asset engineer or project engineer
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Undertaking the role of Examination Engineer for track assets
- Inspecting track assets including plain line, switch and crossings, buffer stops, sliding\xe2\x80\x99s and yards
- provide detailed reports on the condition of the assets to inform the annual maintenance requirements and capital works
- Experience in asset inspection for permanent way
- IT reporting experience
- Ability to maintain accurate inspection records and allocate work accordingly
