Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Asset & Property Portfolio Administrator to support the smooth running of a diverse property portfolio, including both

commercial and residential units.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who wants to take full ownership of day-to-day operations, allowing the landlord to remain completely hands-off.

As Asset & Property Portfolio Administrator, your key responsibilities will include overseeing all expense and financial management, maintaining detailed inventories for commercial and residential tenants, liaising directly with tenants to resolve queries and maintain positive relationships, and coordinating all repairs and maintenance to ensure properties remain in excellent condition. You will handle all compliance matters, statutory notices, and renewals, as well as support lettings and marketing of vacant units, manage utility and council tax accounts, and oversee contractor relationships. Additionally, you will play a vital role in acquisitions and portfolio growth, assisting with due diligence, documentation, and onboarding new properties into the portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, financial acumen, and solid experience in both commercial and residential property or asset management. Experience supporting acquisitions or buy-to-let (BTL) portfolio growth is highly desirable. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working independently with minimal supervision.

We offer flexible working arrangements (2 days in office, 1 day at home or on-site), a competitive salary of

32,000-36,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), pro-rata for part-time

, plus performance bonuses linked to key milestones such as maintaining high occupancy, effective expense management, and successful property acquisitions. Additional hours are available, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as the portfolio grows. Key Responsibilities



Oversee all expense and financial management, including budgets, invoices, and reporting. Maintain detailed inventories for both commercial and residential tenants. Act as the main point of contact for tenants, handling all queries and maintaining positive relationships. Coordinate and manage all repairs and maintenance works to ensure properties are kept in excellent condition. Handle compliance matters, statutory notices, renewals, and ensure all safety certificates and documentation are up to date. Support lettings and marketing of vacant units, including listings, viewings, and tenant onboarding. Manage utility registrations, council tax, and business rates accounts. Oversee contractor and supplier relationships, including sourcing and quality control. Assist with acquisitions and portfolio growth strategy, including due diligence, documentation, and onboarding new properties into the portfolio. Continuously look for opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency.

Experience & Skills



Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication abilities and confidence dealing directly with tenants, contractors, and agents. Financial acumen with experience in managing budgets, expenses, and financial reporting. Proven experience in property management or asset management, covering both commercial and residential properties. Experience supporting acquisitions or buy-to-let portfolio growth (desirable but not essential). Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary & Benefits



32,000-36,000 per annum (full-time equivalent), pro-rata for part-time.
