Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable, well-organised
Assistant Administrator
to join our growing team at our East Kilbride site. Reporting to the
Customer Service & Admin Lead
, this role offers an excellent entry point into a fast-paced e-commerce business.
You'll learn the core areas of our operation -- including order building, logo customisation, customer communication, and quoting -- while contributing to outstanding service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support:
Handle incoming calls and respond to customer emails in a professional and helpful manner.
Order Building:
Assist with preparing custom workwear orders, ensuring accuracy in sizes, colours, branding and delivery dates.
Logo & Customisation Handling:
Help customers upload logos and process them through the approval and proofing stages.
Design Team Liaison:
Coordinate with our in-house design team to send proofs and finalise artwork for embroidery and print.
Quote Follow-ups:
Track and follow up on outstanding quotes or customer leads, ensuring a timely response.
Product Listings:
Support with updating product details online to maintain clear and accurate descriptions.
Order Progress Tracking:
Monitor order statuses and communicate any delays or issues to customers promptly.
Location & Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Optional overtime available
East Kilbride, G75 0RH (on-site only)
Candidate Requirements
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confident phone manner with a positive, customer-first attitude
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Strong IT skills -- experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and web systems
Comfortable learning and navigating new technology quickly
Previous experience in customer service, administration, or e-commerce preferred
A valid UK driving licence is essential (limited public transport access)
