Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Bar Manager to help oversee the operations of our bar and ensure a high standard of service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, with a focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role involves managing a team, maintaining quality standards in food and beverage service, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Duties

Supervise and lead the bar team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee daily bar operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels. Ensure all staff are trained in bartending techniques, food preparation, and customer service standards. Develop and implement creative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with health and safety regulations. Monitor staff performance, providing feedback and support to encourage professional development. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in a bar management role or similar supervisory position within the hospitality industry. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals. Excellent bartending skills with a solid understanding of beverages, cocktails, and mixology techniques. Exceptional leadership qualities with strong communication skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
