We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and bookkeeping experience, with familiarity in the Xero platform. Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including scheduling, email management, and document preparation.
Handle basic bookkeeping tasks such as managing accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and reconciling transactions using Xero accounting software.
Maintain organized records, files, and databases for financial and general administrative tasks.
Assist with payroll processing, as required.
Act as a liaison between the finance team and other departments, ensuring seamless communication.
Support in managing office supplies and other day-to-day administrative duties.
This is a full-time on-site role.
Qualifications
Proven experience in administrative support or office management.
Strong bookkeeping background with hands-on experience in financial record-keeping.
Proficiency with Xero accounting software is a must. Additional experience with accounting platforms is a plus.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize.
High attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
