Venn Group are currently partnering with a Housing Association who are looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their team. As the Assistant Financial Accountant you will be expected to work with the wider finance team to provide an efficient and effective finance service to the business.
Job title: Assistant Financial Accountant
Salary: xc2xa336,000 - xc2xa338,000 pa
Contract: Permanent
Location: Fully remote
Duties:
- Contribute to Year-End accounts process, including preparing the annual financial statements and liaising with the external audit team
- Manage the fixed asset register, ensuring disposals and depreciation are posted and reconciled
- Ensure the monthly VAT return in prepared
- Assist with the month end process, including preparing month end journals
- Assist with budget setting and forecasting and support with the preparation of the 30 year business plan
Experience:
- AAT Qualified (or equivalent)
