Founded in 1887 Dunfermline Golf Club is an established members' club considered Fife's premier parkland course in the picturesque village of Crossford.
A vacancy has arisen within this busy and thriving Club for an Assistant Greenkeeper.
We have a position available on a full-time contract. Reporting to the Head Greenkeeper, we are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to assist in the preparation and maintenance of the golf course, continuously delivering high standards.
The main responsibilities and duties will include
Assist in a range of activities involved in the maintenance of the golf courses & practice facilities, including the use of power
Course setup
Mowing
Bunker maintenance
Construction
Fertiliser application
Topdressing
Aeration
The right candidates should have the following:
Minimum of 3yrs experience working in the turf industry
SVQ 2 in greenkeeping qualification (essential)
SVQ 3 qualification (desirable)
PA 1,6 & 2a spraying certificates (desirable)
Chainsaw certificate (desirable)
First Aid certificate (desirable)
Driving Licence
Positive attitude to change and an attention to detail
A sound knowledge of Health and Safety
The Club will provide:

The contract is for 40 hours per week generally working Monday-Friday with weekend mornings on a rota basis.
