Livelyhood Pub Group is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager.
We're on the hunt for a lively and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our independent pub family!
Livelyhood is a successful, independent London pub operator, and our pubs are a place where meaningful connections are made and every guest leaves with a smile and a reason to return.
This role may apply to various Livelyhood Pub locations.
About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping unforgettable guest experiences while supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll help drive sales, coach and inspire your team, and bring energy to a space where food, drink, and warm hospitality come together.

• Someone who loves creating top notch guest experiences and thrives on putting a smile on both the teams' and our guest's faces.

• You are passionate about developing people, coaching them, seeing their progression.

• You enjoy proactively supporting the General Manager to drive sales and exceed targets.

• Previous experience working with food and gardens/outdoor spaces would be a strong advantage

• You've successfully held a management role in a busy, high-performing pub or restaurant (with a weekly turnover of 15k+).

This is a role where you will truly partner with the General Manager & work with the team to drive and grow the business, creating memorable guest experiences and delivering the very best of hospitality to our Wanstead community.

• A competitive salary between 30,420- 33,420 based on your experience

• Additional tronc/service payments & a Assistant Manager bonus plan - 700 bonus pot a quarter

About Livelyhood
We currently have 7 independent, inviting modern locals in London.
You'll find us in Crystal Palace (The Faber Fox), Balham (The Regent), Wimbledon (The Old Frizzle), Wanstead (The Bull), Clapham South (The Perky Nel), Bromley South (The Artful Duke) & Elephant and Castle (The Rosy Hue).
We are also planning to open more sites in London, so this is a brilliant chance for the right people to join us and be a key part of our growth.
