Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager / Bar & Restaurant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our Bar & Restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining a well-organised and efficient environment. This role requires a blend of bar/Cellar expertise, food production knowledge, and the ability to supervise staff effectively.

Duties

Manage aspects of bar operations, including staff supervision, Rotas, inventory management, and customer service. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the bar area. Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages and food items, ensuring quality and consistency. Train and mentor bar staff in bartending techniques, food preparation, and customer service best practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure timely service. Develop innovative drink menus and promotional events to enhance guest experience. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations as well as licensing laws. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.

Experience

Previous experience is essential, Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising a team within a hospitality setting. Knowledge of food production processes is advantageous for coordinating with kitchen staff. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with guests and team members. A background in restaurant management or related fields will be considered an asset. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the demands of the business.
