Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring that both staff and customers have a positive experience. The Assistant Manager will assist in leading the team, managing the bar, and maintaining high standards of service. Duties

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning. Supervise and support staff during service. Ensure compliance with license regulations and maintain site operation and cleanliness. Train new employees on service, product knowledge and general duties. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Collaborate with the management team to develop events that reflect customer preferences. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management. Solid knowledge of craft beers, or at least a strong interest in learning about them. Passion for delivering excellent food service. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a restaurant or hotel setting. Excellent supervisory skills to guide staff effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as alone and also being able to take initiative when required. Strong communication skills to interact positively with both staff and customers. A passion for helping others succeed in their roles. A keen interest and ability in creating social media posts will be an advantage.

Pay: 24,500.00-28,000.00 per year
