Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to manage the smooth operation of our popular venue The Piggy Bank in Calne Town Centre. The ideal candidate will be fully responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness. A passion and understanding of modern craft beer and current trends is essential in this role (If you progress through application there will be a phone call questionnaire designed to let us know about your knowledge)

Most hours will be at the venue with the rest made up of assisting with tasks at our connected brewery in Melksham that may include local deliveries in our company van or shifts at our other venue.

Salary is negotiable depending on experience and references along with achievable performance bonuses. Company pension scheme and employee discount.

Hours vary but can include any day of the week both during and outside of opening hours. Generally you will work every Friday and Saturday and alternate Sundays.

Duties:

- Day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Using social media for marketing, updating website, knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential.
- Proficiency in bartending techniques and cellar management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- This role involves some heavy lifting so applicants must be physically fit.

Training will be given.
