About the Role
We are looking for a creative and organised
Assistant Marketing Manager
to support our marketing efforts within the fast-paced and rewarding environment of the
fresh produce industry
. Based in
Tangmere
, this is a
part-time role (25 hours per week)
ideal for someone with strong communication and event planning skills, who enjoys variety in their day-to-day work.
Experience in the fresh produce sector is not essential - we're more interested in your enthusiasm, creativity, and ability to bring fresh ideas to our growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Digital Content:
Plan, create and schedule engaging content across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
Monitor social media performance and engagement, reporting insights to improve campaigns.
Support with wider digital marketing activities as needed.
Event Planning & Co-ordination:
Organise and co-ordinate external events such as trade shows, open days or customer visits.
Plan and deliver internal staff events to build engagement and celebrate achievements.
Manage all logistics, communications and promotional materials related to events.
Customer Communication & Presentations:
Design and prepare professional presentations for customers, partners and stakeholders.
Assist with PR and press materials, helping to promote our brand and values externally.
Ensure all messaging is clear, consistent and aligned with our brand identity.
Internal Communication & Branding:
Write and produce content for our in-house staff magazine, including articles, interviews and features.
Contribute to internal newsletters and communications to keep staff informed and inspired.
Help maintain brand consistency across all marketing and internal materials.
About You:
Previous experience in a marketing, communications or events role.
Confident using social media platforms and familiar with digital marketing tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint; experience with Canva or design tools is a plus.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
Desirable (but not essential):
Basic knowledge of design or video editing tools.
Familiarity with email marketing systems (e.g., Mailchimp) or analytics platforms.
Interest in the food, agriculture or similar sectors.
